Drafting Design Specialist

The Drafter role supports complex design and development activities during the pre-construction phase. This role works closely with internal teams to assist with project drafting, design coordination, reporting, and communication to help move projects forward efficiently and accurately. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain communication between the Pre-Construction and Sales & Marketing departments Assist with the design and drafting of new projects Review and prepare reports and other project-related documentation Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties and resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner Provide hardware and software support as needed Produce construction set packages, including duct order forms, hanger BOMs, plan sets, and related documentation Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of drafting and/or design-build experience Exposure to drafting/modeling software such as Revit, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Calendar Strong written and verbal communication skills Pleasant, confident, and professional demeanor when working with colleagues and clients Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to communicate sensitive or difficult information tactfully Open to continuous learning and professional development #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals West Des Moines, IA
