This position involves the sterile processing of instruments to support a high volume surgical department focused on various service lines. The department experiences high volumes in Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, Cysto, Women's, Pediatrics, and General procedures. Attention to detail is essential to ensure patient safety and adherence to correct processes for instrument reprocessing. A limited amount of Immediate Use Steam Sterilization (IUSS) processing occurs, and adherence to volume is required to meet regulatory standards. The job includes decontamination, preparation, and sterilization needs in accordance with established standards. No on-call or floating is required for this position. Weekend coverage is expected, with some weekends aligned in the schedule. Blocked scheduling is not supported, and flexibility in scheduling is necessary. Travelers with specific previous work history will be evaluated for rehire status.
