Project Controls Coordinator

Schedule : Hybrid (hybrid schedule, Mo/Tuesday/Thursday in office, wed/fri remote Job type: Long term temporary (Starting late September for 1 year) Position Overview The Project Controls Coordinator IV (PCC) is responsible for the development and implementation of project controls planning, integration of cost and schedule functions, and quality control oversight of project controls deliverables for Engineering and Construction capital projects. This position will be assigned to high-value, highly complex capital projects exceeding $100 million annually , typically with multi-year durations and an extreme level of complexity . Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the development of the overall Project Execution Plan . Participate in the development and maintenance of project controls deliverables, including: Cost Reports and Cost Variance Analysis Cash Flow Reports and Variance Analysis Schedule Reports and Schedule Variance Analysis Project Change Management Procedures Project Controls Plans Monthly Progress Reports Integrate Cost Control and Scheduling functions into one cohesive project controls team. Define Project Controls resource requirements for assigned projects. Perform quality control reviews of all project controls deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy . Lead coordination and collection of deliverables for Phase Gate Review meetings in accordance with the 6-Phase Project Lifecycle . Provide feedback and recommendations to project controls and project systems functional groups based on lessons learned and actual experiences with: New tools Processes Procedures Support continuous improvement of project controls processes and systems. Basic / Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Another technical discipline Or equivalent industry-related education/experience Minimum 12 years of PCC-specific related experience . Strong experience with project controls for large-scale Engineering and Construction capital projects. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Desired Skills & Experience Experience working effectively within a matrix organizational structure . Specific knowledge and experience with scheduling and cost control processes , particularly as they relate to: Plant facility projects Familiarity with best management practices for project scheduling and cost control. Ability to understand, develop, and implement processes and practices related to: Cost control Project controls Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a reasonable level of supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent organizational and coordination skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Experience with: Microsoft Project Microsoft Project Server Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of project controls experience supporting large, complex capital projects, with strong expertise in cost control, scheduling, project execution planning, change management, and project controls reporting . Experience supporting pipeline and plant/facility projects is particularly valuable, as is experience managing project controls activities on projects exceeding $100 million per year . #J-18808-Ljbffr RigUp
