About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Vascular Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Strong experience in cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, and robotics preferred. License: Georgia or compact license required. Description: Candidates must be willing to float to General OR as needed. On-call duty is required, including 48-60 hours every 4-week period. Weekend on-call is also required. Staff may choose to sign up for on-call shifts either on their day off or on the day they work. Typically, staff are not kept on call for the entire 12-hour shift. If staffing needs arise, discussions will occur with staff regarding early release for rest. Two on-call rooms are available for use when staff are on call. Candidates may be asked to float between multiple campuses with typically one day of notice. On-call responsibility remains at the location of scheduled cases.
