Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Windsor, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Must reside outside an 80-mile local radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• CPI certification (candidates may begin the assignment without this certification and will be enrolled in the next available class at the facility)
