Job Description

The Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in acute care ICU settings. The right candidate will join our dynamic team and care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced equipment and performing various critical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the STICU
• Assist in advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, and bronchoscopy
• Administer medications, including hypertonic solutions and TPA
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning for patients

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in Trauma ICU (Level I or Level II) and Surgical ICU
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and flexibility are essential
