Certified Medical Assistant

We are a small privately owned and operated family practice. We have been practicing for 29 years and plan to practice for many more. We have one physician and 3 nurse practitioners. Our goal is to provide excellent and quality care to all of our patients across the lifespan. Job Description Job Summary We are looking for one full‑time or two part‑time certified medical assistants. The position is in a small family practice. The hours would be four 10‑hour days, with the option to discuss five 8‑hour days. This position involves phone work as well as rooming patients. We see patients from new babies to geriatric patients and perform many immunizations. Responsibilities and Duties Vital signs Medication review Diabetic foot exams Snellen eye chart exams Breathing treatments Vaccinations Entering orders Urinalysis testing Pregnancy testing Phone calls Prior authorizations Pre‑certifications Working with providers Rooming patients Qualifications We strongly prefer a certification in medical assisting. We require excellent multitasking ability. We are open to new graduates with an exceptional skill set and recommendations.
