Equipment Operator / Hubtex Operator 3rd Shift

A leading manufacturing facility in Columbus, OH 43207 is seeking dependable Equipment Operators / Hubtex Operators to join our production team on 3rd shift. This facility manufactures vinyl siding and other exterior building products. The ideal candidate has experience operating a Hubtex, multidirectional forklift, side-loader, or similar industrial equipment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Starting pay: $19$20/hour. Higher pay may be available based on experience. Training will likely take place on 1st shift (7:00 AM7:00 PM) until you are fully trained and certified. Once trained/certified, you will transition to 3rd shift, 7:00 PM7:00 AM. Overtime opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Hubtex and/or other industrial equipment
• Move and stage raw materials, finished products, and production materials
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility
• Supply production lines with necessary materials
• Safely maneuver equipment in tight areas and around other employees and machinery
• Inspect materials and products for damage or discrepancies
• Follow production, safety, and operating procedures
• Complete required paperwork and/or production documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with general production duties as needed
• Follow all attendance, safety, and quality requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous Hubtex, side-loader, multidirectional forklift, or similar equipment experience preferred
• Previous forklift or industrial equipment experience strongly preferred
• Manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, or production experience a plus
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift
• Ability to work 7:00 PM7:00 AM once training is completed
• Willingness to train on 1st shift initially
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be dependable and safety-conscious

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and maneuver
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may not be climate controlled
• Ability to safely perform material-handling duties
• Must be comfortable working around moving equipment and machinery
