Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location: Saint Benedicts, MN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with 2 weekends on and 1 weekend off.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a night shift position. Our facility requires a wide array of skills to cater to a diverse patient population including emergency room, floors, and ICU care. Experience in Pulmonary Rehab and PFT is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care and therapy to patients in various settings (ER, ICU, and floors).
• Assist with ventilator management, intubation, and extubation practices.
• Perform pulmonary function testing (PFT) and administer medications such as nebulized treatments.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patients' respiratory status.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapy and interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CRTT certifications required.
• Experience in adult critical care is mandatory.
• Travel experience is required.
• MN State License in hand is required prior to submission.
