Nutrition Service Aide

Job Overview The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays. Responsibilities Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area Prepares and delivers patient nourishments and tube feeding per department standards. Plates and serves food Accurately place correct item on tray in proper location in accordance with department productivity standards. Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures. Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils. Serves customers in cafeterias, doctor's dining rooms and other non-patient locations. Accurately operates cash register. Required Qualifications Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
