P&C Reinsurance Actuarial Internship

Client-facing reinsurance advisory closer to client-facing consulting than a reserving cycle role because the work is tied to bespoke submissions, broker communication, and client needs.

P&C reinsurance actuarial internship in New York, with an alternative location in Edina, Minnesota. You'll support reserve solutions, loss portfolio transfers, capital modelling, data analysis, and client-ready presentations while working with brokers and clients.

Requirements

Must have:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Rising senior (graduating December 2027 or by June 2028)
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Pay close attention to detail

Strongly preferred:

• Understanding of reinsurance contracts and products

Nice to have:

• Completion of Actuarial exam(s) or actively studying for an exam
• Experience in the (re)insurance industry
• Advanced degree
