Job Title El Dorado Care and Rehab in El Dorado, KS is looking to hire a Full‑time 6a‑6p Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse to join our team. This rehabilitation nursing position earns a competitive salary of $27.00 to $31.90 per hour and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time employees. A Day In The Life Of A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you play a vital role in our clinic. You provide total care for our residents, monitor their condition and needs, administer medications and treatments following physician orders, ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitor for side effects, and report changes. You oversee nursing assistant‑registered (NAR) staff to ensure care plans are followed. With a close eye for detail, you complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, and report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect. You maintain confidentiality, comply with HIPAA requirements and facility policies, and deliver excellent customer service while building relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. Qualifications LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing Current CPR certification Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations Desire to work with the elderly Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required Work Schedule This full‑time health care position works 12‑hour day shifts (6a‑6p). #J-18808-Ljbffr
