Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to PCU patients under the direction of the unit framework and care plans.
- Monitor patient vitals, assess clinical status, document observations, and escalate changes per protocol.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, ensuring accuracy and safety in dosing and infusion.
- Interpret basic cardiac rhythms when applicable, respond to acute events, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other health care professionals to develop and implement the patient’s plan of care; participate in discharge planning and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; uphold patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout shifts.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the PCU or related specialty
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification required
- Active RN license (state appropriate)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) and commit to a 13-week assignment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced PCU environment
- Current eligibility to practice in the United States
