Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit CA, Apple Valley 07/08/2026 Contract Active Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This role is responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill newborns. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neonates. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed. Provide support and education to families. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records. Schedule / Shift Every Other Weekend May exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Required Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Experience A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. At least 1 year of experience specifically within a NICU setting is required. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. EMR / Systems Epic Unit / Specialty NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Level III NICU Patient Population Critically ill newborns.
