Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of our expanding team of imaging experts dedicated to offering exceptional service. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will carry out diagnostic procedures, work alongside a team of supportive clinicians, and help assure that patients receive timely and accurate imaging services.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting a range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety during procedures while providing clarity and compassion at each step
• Collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keeping abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications required:

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential skills:

• High technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
