Weareseekinga ProjectAccountant tosupportprojectfinancialmanagementfromstart-upthroughclose-out,whilepartneringcloselywithProjectManagersandtheFinancialManagementTeam. WhatYouWillDo: Maintain,analyze,andreconcilejobcostledgers,ensuringaccurateallocationofexpenses. Monitoractualcostsagainstoriginalestimatesandbaselinebudgetsandreportonjobcostvariances. Coordinatewithprojectmanagerstocreateprogressbillingsbasedonpercentage-of-completionrevenuerecognition. Reviewandprocesssubcontractorpayapplications Assistwithprocessingorreviewingprojectpayroll,ensuringaccuratejobcostingallocations,laborburdentracking,andcertifiedpayrollreporting(ifapplicable) Continuouslyseekprocessimprovementstorefinejobcostingprocessesandinternalcontrolstoimproveaccountingaccuracyandefficiencies. Assistwithmonthendcloseprocesses Supportinternalandexternalaudits WhatYouWillBringtoScorpio: Bachelor’sDegreeinAccounting,Financeorrelatedfield 3–5+yearsofaccountingexperience,withatleast2yearsfocusedspecificallyonjobcostorprojectaccounting UnderstandingofWIPschedules,percentage-of-completionaccounting,andchangeordermanagementstronglypreferred ProficiencywithenterpriseERPsystems(SageIntacctpreferably) Exposuretoconstructionpayrollprocesses,wageallocations,ortime-trackingsoftware(e.g.,MiterorintegratedERPpayrollmodules)isaplus Advancedexcelskills(pivottables,complexformulas,datamodeling). Familiaritywithprojectmanagementintegratedsoftware(e.g.,Procore)isaplus.
