Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and provide skilled nursing care.
• Manage cases and provide hospice care as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
• Advanced certifications relevant to specialty areas.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential.
• May require field visits necessitating travel by personal vehicle.

Scheduling:

• Typically Monday through Friday, with schedules varying based on clinical setting.
• Shift assignments may include days, evenings, nights, or weekends depending on facility needs.
• On-call duties may be required depending on specialty and employer policies.
