Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various types of truck driving, including experience with manual transmission, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. *Duties* * Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. * Load and unload freight efficiently and safely. * Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or any issues encountered during delivery. * Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo. *Skills* * Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. * Experience with refrigerated trailers and flatbed trucks is highly desirable. * Knowledge of tanker operations is a plus. * Strong commercial driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). * Previous delivery driver experience is preferred. * Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. * Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques. * Excellent route driving skills with the ability to navigate effectively using maps or GPS systems. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
