Job Title

Pharmacist – Nights (11.5-Hour Shifts)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 11.5-Hour Shifts | 7 on / 7 off Rotation | 1800–0600 | Expected 34.5 hours one week / 46 hours the following week | Every other weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services across a high-volume care continuum including Emergency Services, Critical Care, NICU, Pediatrics, Adult Medical/Surgical/Oncology, OR, and outpatient surgery centers
• Practice independently to support patient care and medication management, processing an average of 3,000 orders per day through the pharmacy department
• Provide emergency medication and code response support, including attendance at rapid responses and in-house codes
• Support remote pharmacy coverage for an off-campus Emergency Department
• Utilize EPIC EMR , Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Demonstrate strong communication skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams across a Level III Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, Level II Cardiac Center, and Level II Stroke Center

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient/acute care pharmacist experience
• Active Washington State Pharmacist License (in hand or documented proof of application submitted 6+ weeks prior)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
• Ability to practice independently and support emergency/code response situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with Alaris IV pump systems and Omnicell medication dispensing
• Prior travel or multi-setting pharmacy experience
