Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active NJ Physical Therapist license required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in subacute, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or assisted living facility (ALF) settings preferred.
• Experience with UDS or NetHealth EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and manage typical SNF caseloads.
• If applying as a PTA, willingness to have PT cosign documentation as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous traveling clinician experience preferred.
• Experience supervising or collaborating with rehab techs preferred.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Typical hours: approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Patient treatment time: PTs treat approximately 7 hours per day; PTAs treat approximately 7.5 hours per day.
• Two rehab technicians available to assist with patient transport.
