Clinical Laboratory Technologist - STAT Lab

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for its STAT Lab in New Castle, Delaware. The role involves performing diagnostic testing procedures, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring specimen quality in a high-volume environment. Monday–Friday schedule, 9:30 am–6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability and process samples for testing
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures per departmental protocols
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
• Document preventative maintenance and report test results accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• Minimum one year clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Ability to pass color blindness screening test
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
