Senior Fire Alarm Systems Inspector

Fire Inspector We are seeking experienced professionals to perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and fire life safety systems. The role focuses on preventing, detecting, and mitigating fire impacts through meticulous testing, repairs, and customer training. As a Fire Inspector, you will: Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules providing inspections, testing, and performing minor service and deficiency repairs for fire alarm equipment in compliance with NFPA 72 standards and state/local codes. Note deficiencies, remedy actions, review pricing with customers, and complete service documentation. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed, generate reports within Siemens tools, and upload to city municipality websites. Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections, and assist with training. Work overtime when needed, maintain stock, tools, and equipment in vehicles, and adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies. Complete required training and certifications within the specified time requirements. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience performing inspections, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire alarm and/or fire life safety systems. NICET I certification or equivalent Colorado fire alarm license. Willingness and ability to work the on‑call rotation and overtime as required. Ability to work in a variety of environments, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high‑lift equipment; working in ducts, above ceilings, and extreme conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet; carry and move equipment up to 75 lb unassisted. Ability to differentiate types/colors of wire. Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations, and meet eligibility for Siemens fleet vehicle program. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or state‑recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience performing ITM of fire alarm and/or fire life safety systems. Obtain NICET II inspection and testing of fire alarm systems within 12 months. Ability to read and understand design and construction documents. Compensation Salary range: $49,980 - $85,680.
