Lead Software Engineer - Java, AI

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 7+ years of hands-on software development life cycle experience.

• We require a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• We need advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We are looking for demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• Preferred: hands-on experience and knowledge of the financial services industry and its technology infrastructure.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with Golang or Rust.
• Preferred: familiarity with automated failure triage patterns, including failure clustering, flaky test detection, rerun rules, and quarantining workflows.

• We apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation.
• We remain flexible and respond quickly to changing business priorities in a fast-paced, market-driven environment.
• We take accountability for large, high-complexity, high-risk, and high-visibility projects.
• We integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and repeatable validation of new features and bug fixes.
