Caregiver (Starting at $18/hr, $20/hr for CNA)

We are seeking dedicated Caregivers to join our diverse teamin Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission. We are hiring immediately and offer paid training! We have flexible full-time, part-time and on-call shifts availablewith a starting base rate of $18/hr (plus additionaldifferentials of $1 for night shift and $1 for weekends for AMs andPMs). The hourly rate for IHR/On-Call positions is $21.00 (plusadditional differential of $1 for weekends). We provide free DSP training. CNAs and DSPs are encouraged to apply. Certified CNAsstart at a base rate of $20/hr and DSPs can start atup to $19.50/hr based on years of experience as acertified DSP. Joining Marklund is about being part of something bigger. Who We Are: Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.
