Associate Director of Inspection - Manufactured StructuresLocation: Eastern PATravel: Regular travel to local manufacturers, approximately 25% overnight travel required.PFS TECO, an NFPA Global Solutions Company, is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Inspection to lead inspection operations within an assigned region of our Manufactured Structures Segment. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned inspection professional who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance while remaining connected to field operations.In this leadership role, you'll oversee a team of inspectors, ensure high-quality inspection services, support training and certification efforts, and collaborate with senior leadership to improve operational performance.What You'll DoLead the day-to-day operations of an assigned regional inspection team.Ensure modular and manufactured home inspections are completed accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with applicable regulations.Review inspection reports for quality, accuracy, and completeness while coaching inspectors for continuous improvement.Assist with scheduling, workload balancing, and resolving operational challenges.Support inspector training, certification, and professional development.Monitor regional expenses and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.Stay current on state and federal building codes, HUD regulations, and industry standards.Partner with the Director of Inspections to implement new processes, improve regional performance, and support company initiatives.Perform field inspections as needed during peak workloads or when specialized expertise is required.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in modular or manufactured housing inspections, or a construction-related quality assurance or inspection role.Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong knowledge of modular and manufactured housing inspection standards and applicable building codes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inspection management software.Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Why Join PFS TECO?At PFS TECO, you'll work alongside industry experts dedicated to advancing quality and safety in manufactured structures.
