Parts Receptionist/Clerk

The Parts Receptionist/Clerk provides a professional first point of contact for visitors and callers while supporting daily office operations. This role manages front-desk duties, maintains supplies, assists with data entry and invoice processing, and supports multiple departments as needed. It requires flexibility to work extended hours to meet shop and field demands and ensures a clean, safe, and organized reception area.

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Responsible for providing welcoming and professional first point of contact for customers, visitors and employees.
• Responsible for answering phone calls.
• Responsible for handling general administrative duties and providing support to various departments.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining office and front-desk supplies.
• Assist with data entry and help process invoices, purchase orders or other paperwork when applicable.
• Support daily office operations and provide coverage for other administrative functions as needed.
• Work between 40 and 60 hours per week and possibly 12 days on 2 days off as needed to support shop and field operations.
• Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• All Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write and speak in English; knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills with attention to accuracy.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience:

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Six months' related experience and/or training in reception, administrative support, customer service, or related office support is desired.
• Must be computer literate.
• Conflict resolution; ability to diffuse and assess situations.
• Valid current California Drivers' license, which meets both our insurance company guidelines and J. G. Boswell Company's Vehicle Use Policy.
• Must be able to work as part of a team independently.
• Must be observant, organized, and detail oriented.
• Must function well in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire and ability to learn.

Pay Range: $17-24/hr
