Staff Perfusionist

Location: The Valley Hospital - 4 Valley Health Plaza, Paramus, NJ 07652 Overview Join our dedicated team at The Valley Hospital, handling approximately 600 open-heart cases annually. Our cases primarily include CABGs and Valves, with occasional ECMO support. With a team of four full-time perfusionists, this position offers a supportive and collaborative work environment. On-call responsibilities are evenly distributed among the team. Key Responsibilities Operate and manage heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries. Collaborate with a team of 3-4 cardiac surgeons on diverse procedures. Provide expert perfusion support for CABG, valve procedures, and occasional ECMO cases. Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital protocols. Participate in on-call rotation. Licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience with CABG, valve procedures, and ECMO is preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
