Description - What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses-ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology-using established methodologies.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot anomalies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or trainees, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Promote a safe and hygienic working environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of employment.
• Maintain current professional certification throughout your tenure with the organization.
