By joining our team, your career will be amplified by a culture of empathy, innovation, and life balance, recognized by employees as the top firm to work for in 2025 by Zweig Group !What You'll Do:Performing conventional and GPS computations and analysisLand records researchField crew supervisionAbility to take field measurements and stakeout of survey projects in Verdnatas’ areas of operationMake boundary decisions based on Colonial Land reconstruction theoriesPrepare and seal final surveys for boundary, subdivision, site plan etc.Prepare engineering basemaps for civil and structural design projectsCommunicate with architects, engineers, geologists, etc., in a collaborative effortCoordinate with the Principal Surveyor for evaluation of staffing, equipment, project, and marketing effortsWhat You Bring:High School Graduate and an Associate's Degree or 5-10 years’ experience preferred10 + years of professional experience in the practice of land surveying in northern New England or a similar settingAbility to manage projects and handle client relationsAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to complete field work, including carrying equipment, cutting traverse lines, and walking on undeveloped sitesAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsExperience with AutoCAD design software, including Civil3D a plusStrong technical skillsSalary Range:The starting salary for this position is $80,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications , and licensing statusBenefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
