Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver both direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students' IEPs
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments to identify each student's needs
• Design and execute tailored treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all state and district standards
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal-setting and progress monitoring
• Encourage and support students to achieve functional success within the school environment

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Virginia OT license (or ability to secure licensure prior to start)
• Prior experience in a school-based OT role is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Caseload / Assignment Details:

• Serve a diverse population across grades K-12
• 37.5 hours per week, following the school calendar with observed breaks and holidays
