Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to support customers from the initial request for quotation through order processing and coordination with production.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing customer communication, administrative precision, and collaboration to keep projects moving smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Sales Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting customers from the initial request for quotation through order processing and coordination with production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate quotations based on customer inquiries received primarily by email, as well as by phone and online requests
• Reviewing RFQs and gathering any additional information needed to ensure accurate pricing
• Processing customer orders with a high level of accuracy
• Working with internal teams to ensure customer requirements, specifications, and timelines are clearly understood
• Monitoring order progress and supporting production scheduling
• Identifying and communicating any issues or discrepancies before they become problems
• Maintaining accurate information within the ERP system

Some quotations can be completed in under an hour, while others may develop over several months. Success in this role comes from staying organized, communicating proactively, and delivering timely, professional service throughout the process.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong attention to detail with a genuine commitment to customer service.

You'll be successful if you have:

• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, order entry, or a similar role
• Strong numerical aptitude and comfort performing basic calculations and unit conversions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an asset

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, takes ownership of their work, and brings a positive, team-first attitude. We can teach the technical aspects of the role—the right attitude is much harder to train.
