Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Webster Full-time and part-time openings on 7a-3p and 3p-11p, including every other weekend 40 hours on 11p-7a, including every other weekend Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $42 depending on the shift. Evenings and weekends have shift differentials. Job Summary As an LPN at Lanessa Extended Care, you will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant. You will meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident, maintain current resident care plans, and follow physician's orders. Responsibilities Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care Follow physician's orders Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately Review patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completeness Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs Administer medication according to procedure Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list Document and report any unusual or significant findings Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary Demonstrate correct safety techniques Respect and take care of facility equipment and supplies Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies & Procedures, protecting residents' individual health information Requirements Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program Must be CPR certified Must possess an active and unencumbered LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts, or be in the process of obtaining one New graduates welcome!
