As a Lead - Assembly you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of a group of employees. You will assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, direct efforts and provide technical guidance on more complex issues. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Prepares work schedules, assigns works, and oversees the work product Reviews work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisition, equipment, and supplies for section. SCOPE Reports to a supervisor or manager Maintains production schedules and quality of work to a limited extent "Lead and Direct" a group of two or more individuals EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIORS Must be knowledgeable in D365, AX and other systems. Ability to use tools to make or repair parts and products. Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions such as standard work. Intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Work in a team environment with other members of a line or group to assemble products. Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry. Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand continuously for up to 10 hours per day.
