Key responsibilities may include: Set construction and management: Building, painting, and moving set pieces on and off stage. Lighting operation: Setting up and controlling lighting fixtures, including spotlights and follow spots, to create specific effects during a performance. Sound operation: Mixing and adjusting sound levels for microphones, music, and sound effects. Stage management support: Assisting the stage manager with cueing actors, coordinating scene changes, and ensuring smooth transitions. Prop management: Acquiring, storing, and placing props on stage as needed. Technical rehearsals: Participating in rehearsals to execute lighting and sound cues, and troubleshoot any technical issues. Maintenance and upkeep: Keeping the auditorium equipment and stage area clean and in working order. Ability to perform physical activities such as walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, pulling and lifting. Reports to: High School Auditorium Manager/Stage Manager Wage: Per Hour Terms of Employment: As needed, Part-Time, Must be available after hours and evenings. Classification: 4 Salary established by the Governing Board.
