Laborer

Laborer – Robins & Morton Robins & Morton is looking for a Laborer to contribute to the physical building of our exciting construction projects. We are looking for a candidate who will consistently show integrity and collaborate with the team to provide physical labor, operate hand and power tools, and a variety of other equipment. He/she will help maintain clean and prepared sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and remove rubble and debris. The candidate will be readily willing to help other craft teammates and successfully perform the duties as directed by the Labor Foreman or R&M Manager. YOUR DAY‑TO‑DAY Run and maintain various construction equipment, including pumps, compressors, generators, and other construction equipment. Load and unload trucks. Deliver materials to site storage area or other designated area. Keep building and/or assigned areas clean and organized to maintain safe and productive work. Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) – Preferred 1 year as a Labor/Helper in carpentry or construction field – Preferred Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. General knowledge of construction means, methods, materials and equipment as necessary to assist carpenters, foreman and R&M managers.
