Dental Biller

Join our CHC team as a Dental Biller!Responsibilities include:Ensures prompt and accurate completion and entry of encounter forms into health center practice management systemPrepares and submits clean claims to various insurance carriers/companiesIdentifies and resolves patient billing questions and complaintsBills Commonwealth of Massachusetts for services performed through Health Safety Net.Prepares patient statements as requiredEvaluates patient’s financial status and establishes payment plans in accordance with health center policyFollows up on delinquent accounts in coordination with billing supervisorRecords patient and insurance company payments into practice management/billing systemKeeps up with changes in reimbursement regulations and guidelinesWorks with Billing Manager and Chief Financial Officer to ensure cash collections equal to at least 95% of net revenue on a monthly basisFollowing up on denials on a weekly basis to ensure that claims can be corrected and rebilledAssists in completion of Medicare credit balance report (and other reporting requirements)Maintains strict patient confidentialityPerforms other duties as assignedHigh school graduate, 1-3 years medical office billing experience.Well organized and able to complete projects with little supervision.Knowledge/skills relating to medical billing procedures, problem solving, reporting skills, multi-tasking, internal communications, informing others, reporting research results.Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
