Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting students in the Houston metro area as a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Multiple maternity leave coverage positions are available across several campuses, each within varying neighborhoods reaching from South Houston to the West and East/Southeast. Assignments are expected to begin in early 2027 and continue through the end of the year.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about supporting student communication and academic growth through collaborative, professional service.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active Texas SLPA license and be able to provide a screenshot for documentation (licensure in hand required).
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting as an SLPA.
• Ability to commute reliably to all assigned campuses; positions are on-site only.
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication, with a focus on supportive, student-centered therapy.
• Flexible regarding start dates and open to assignment durations as determined by campus needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services and facilitate communication interventions under SLP supervision.
• Maintain accurate session notes and collaborate with educational staff and caregivers.
• Participate in team meetings, progress monitoring, and individualized education support.
• Adhere to district, state, and ethical requirements for practice.
