Acupuncturist – Fertility & Women's HealthBallard Acupuncture Center | Ballard, Seattle, WA Are you an experienced acupuncturist with a strong background in fertility who is passionate about working with women? Ballard Acupuncture Center is looking for an experienced, compassionate acupuncturist to join our established women's health practice. We support women through the many transitions of life—from fertility and IVF to pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. We are a woman-owned, cash-based practice that has been serving Seattle since 2009. We see 20–25 new patients each month and have strong referral relationships with PNW Fertility and other healthcare providers. We have been voted Seattle's Best Acupuncture Clinic two years in a row and were the 2025 Bronze Winner for Best Women's Clinic in the PNW. About the PositionFertility is a significant part of our practice, and we are looking for an acupuncturist with hands-on experience treating fertility patients after graduation. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in fertility acupuncture and experience supporting women through both natural fertility and assisted reproductive treatments, including IVF. Additional training or continuing education in fertility and reproductive health is important to us. We are especially interested in practitioners who have continued to develop their fertility expertise through advanced coursework, mentorship, or clinical experience and who are comfortable working alongside patients and their fertility care teams. While fertility is a major focus, our clinic supports women through many different stages and transitions. We are looking for someone who is also interested in treating women's health conditions throughout the lifespan, including pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. Chinese herbal medicine is an important part of our approach. We are looking for a practitioner who is confident prescribing individualized Chinese herbal formulas and incorporating herbs into treatment plans when appropriate. We also offer Point Injection Therapy (PIT). Experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate. Responsibilities: • What You'll Do • Provide individualized acupuncture care with a strong focus on fertility and women's health • Support patients through natural fertility, IUI, IVF, and other assisted reproductive treatments • Treat women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause • Prescribe individualized Chinese herbal formulas • Recommend supplements and lifestyle support when appropriate • Provide or learn Point Injection Therapy (PIT) • Maintain accurate and timely patient charts You will come into the clinic, see your patients, provide treatment, and chart. We take care of everything else. Our front desk and administrative team handles scheduling, patient communication, billing, and the day-to-day operations of the clinic so you can focus on providing excellent care. Qualifications: • What We're Looking For Required: • Master's or Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine • Post-graduate clinical experience treating fertility patients • Additional fertility training, continuing education, or mentorship beyond acupuncture school • Strong education and experience in Chinese Herbal Medicine • Washington State Acupuncture License • Current malpractice insurance Compensation & Benefits This is a commission-based position with strong earning potential. • 40% commission on acupuncture services • 10% commission on retail sales (Chinese herbs, supplements, and Point Injection Therapy) Because we are a successful cash-based practice, practitioners typically earn: (2 rooms available/hr) • $100–$110 for each new patient visit • $58–$70 for each return visit Additional benefits include: • Two weeks of paid time off • 4 paid holidays (Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day & Independence Day • 25% employee discount on all clinic services and retail products • Established patient base with consistent new patient referrals • Mentorship and collaboration with experienced fertility and women's health practitioners Available Schedule Current openings include: • Monday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM • Tuesday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM • Friday: 10:00-3:00 PM • Saturday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM 2-3 shifts available to start.
