Automation Controls Engineer page is loaded## Automation Controls Engineerlocations: Leesport, PAposted on: Vor 2 Tagen ausgeschriebenjob requisition id: 2026-R8264### **At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. *Join us!***The Automation Controls Engineer will design, fabricate, program, install, modify, and repair all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.**You Will Have the Opportunity to:*** Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles.* Generate electrical schematics and documentation necessary to install and troubleshoot control system and interface it to other system components.* Perform PLC/HMI/Automation Controller programming with emphasis on program reliability, safety and ease of updated troubleshooting documentation.* Define scope documents for new and existing equipment from external providers. Establish product acceptance criteria.* Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements.**Education and Experience Required:*** B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrated required capability as an Automation technician for 5 years.* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.* Preferred: knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma principles**Materion Corporation and its subsidiaries (the "Company") is an equal employment opportunity employer.
