Job Description Job Description Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources group in the St. Louis, MO office. This is not a remote position. We are a fast-growing firm with 500+ employees across 25 offices in 10 states serving clients through our four primary business groups: Aviation Surface Transportation Water Resources Building & Site Services CMT provides planning, environmental, design, and construction observation phase services on projects in all four of these groups and more, which range from simple to complex. As a Water Resource Civil Engineer , you'll play a key role in working with senior staff, to support a wide range of municipal infrastructure projects, working closely with experienced engineers on planning, design, permitting, and construction-phase services. What you will do: Support water, wastewater, and stormwater municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction Projects may include water supply and treatment, water distribution mains, water storage, sanitary sewers, water and wastewater pump stations, wastewater treatment, and stormwater systems Work on periodic construction observation in the field Attend team meetings and contribute ideas Developing technical reports and present collaborative ideas Be open to feedback and professional growth Engineering new grads: assist with plan preparation & field visits alongside experienced engineers Here is what you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or your technical field is required. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a willingness to learn. Ability to work in the field, as needed, for engineering roles. Possession of a current and valid driver’s license to travel to field sites, as needed, for engineering roles. Ideally, you will also have: 0-4 years of Civil Engineering or internship experience related to your field. FE certification or the ability to obtain certification Previous internship or co-op experience Elevating infrastructure, together. The expected compensation range for this position is $70,500 - $76,000 annually. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location.
