Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions with clients via secure video platforms, promoting a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves.
• Facilitate discussions surrounding emotions, thoughts, and life experiences while assisting clients in identifying personal challenges.
• Guide clients in establishing achievable therapeutic goals tailored to their unique needs and collaborate on actionable steps to reach these goals.
• Identify behavioral patterns that may hinder progress and implement strategies to overcome these challenges, focusing on recovery and personal growth.
• Equip clients with effective coping mechanisms to manage stress and anxiety, fostering resilience and self-efficacy.
• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment plans, adjusting strategies as required to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work primarily with a diverse clientele, including a range of adults experiencing mood disorders and emotional challenges. All clients are pre-screened to ensure they are stable and lower acuity, allowing therapists to focus on delivering tailored therapeutic interventions effectively. This focus enables you to cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, assisting them on their journey toward emotional stability and improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Candidates must possess a current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington state.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds, are critical for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• A proven track record of delivering successful client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders is highly regarded.
