Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care within the emergency setting, ensuring timely and quality treatment for patients. This full-time position involves working collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver exemplary emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and progress updates.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Advocate for patients' rights by offering emotional support and ensuring respectful, compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Possess at least 2 years of emergency room experience; new graduates are not eligible.
• Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Preferred: CEN and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rhythm recognition and basic arrhythmia management.
