Responsibilities Responsible for the control, use and disposition of accountable property for the Site. Researches and resolves discrepancies in the system specific to the Site. Reviews ELMS property deficiency reports and recommends/approves changes submitted to the ELMS Systems Administrator. Researches and resolves discrepancies in the system specific to the Site. Obtains delegation authority for new hand-receipt holders and briefs them on policies and procedures. Monitors inventory control of hand receipts via ELMS. Documents accountable property transactions required by an APO, such as lateral transfers from one property book to another property book or transfers to a donation program or other DoW certified recipient. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-07) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: utilizing established metrics in order to evaluate capital and operational assets belonging to a large-scale organization; OR assisting in the development of recommendations for management planning, inventory control, depreciation of assets, accountability, and the ultimate issue of supplies, equipment, or related inventory; OR reviews data analysis and deficiency reports on inventories to determine correct disposition or redistribution. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement. Education Substitution of Education for Experience: One full year of graduate level education or Superior Academic Achievement ( may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. Additional Information Moving expenses will not be paid.
