Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience with both scrub and circulate skills, and on-call availability.

Details

• Fast-paced hospital operating room environment specializing in cardiovascular surgery
• 10-hour day shifts with varied start times, 4 shifts per week
• On-call is required for this position
• EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
• Floating to other sister campuses is required; travelers are first to float

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required; DL address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience required
• Must have both scrub and circulate experience in a CVOR setting
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture
• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID processing
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved after that point
• A copy of your driver's license, certifications, and Nursys verification will be required for consideration
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL Dept of Health list) is required for RNs
