What You’ll Do A civil engineer, in the 3-6 year career range, with experience in water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure design who is looking to take the next step in their career. We are seeking someone who: Has hands-on experience designing water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Enjoys working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and agencies. Wants increasing project responsibility and a clear path toward project management or technical leadership. Thrives in a collaborative office environment and enjoys being part of an engaged team. What You’ll Work On: As a member of our water/wastewater business sector team, you’ll contribute to projects from planning and design through construction. Project types include: Water distribution systems Wastewater collection systems Water and Wastewater pump stations Water and Wastewater treatment Water storage facilities Utility master planning studies You’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while working on projects that have a visible and lasting impact on local communities. Responsibilities: Planning and design of water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection, and wastewater collection systems. Supporting projects from concept through construction. Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions. Working closely with senior engineers and project managers who actively mentor and invest in your growth. Working with our other discipline engineers on coordinating structural, electrical, and survey. Collaborate with agencies, clients, and stakeholders. Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies. Using modern design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, WaterCAD, Aquatwin Sewer and MS Office. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. At least 3 years of professional experience focused on water/wastewater or municipal infrastructure projects. Experience with planning, design, and construction support for utility projects.
