Tempe Dental Care is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant for our Scottsdale, Arizona location (South Scottsdale Dental Care). We are a privately owned dental practice with more than 25 years of experience serving patients in the Valley. Our team is committed to providing high-quality patient care in a professional, friendly, and collaborative environment.
We are looking for an experienced chairside Dental Assistant who is articulate, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy two-doctor practice. If you take pride in patient care and enjoy being part of a team that values quality treatment, we would like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Provide chairside assistance to the doctors during patient treatment
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist with efficient patient flow
- Support doctors throughout clinical procedures
- Help provide a comfortable and positive experience for patients
- Communicate professionally with patients and members of the dental team
- Follow established clinical and office procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment
- Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and front-office staff
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Current X-ray certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable approach
- Ability to stay organized and work effectively in a busy practice
- Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus
Schedule
Full-time, approximately 32 hours per week.
Compensation & Benefits
- $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience
- Health insurance with 50% of the premium paid
- Vision care
- 6 paid holidays
- 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year
- 2 weeks of paid vacation after 3 years
