AI Workflow Automation Engineer
Avalara is seeking an AI Workflow Automation Engineer to enhance its enterprise-grade automation ecosystem, utilizing n8n to design secure and measurable automation solutions that streamline operations and improve process quality. This role emphasizes collaboration across departments to integrate AI-driven workflows and decision-making into various enterprise processes, contributing to improved productivity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer scalable automation solutions using n8n and related platforms.
- Design hybrid automation patterns with AI agents and event-driven systems.
- Build AI-enabled workflows to support intelligent decision-making and controls.
- Establish logging, monitoring, and governance models for automation workflows.
- Mentor teams on automation design and responsible practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years in enterprise automation or workflow engineering.
- Hands-on experience with n8n or Boomi.
- Understanding of API-first and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AI/ML services.
