RN / Associate Director of Nursing Services

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in nursing from a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)

Required Experience:

• Four (4) years progressively responsible nursing administration experience

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Establishes and maintains systems to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and State of Florida licensure standards.
• Demonstrates an understanding of diversity.

• Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
• Promote a consistent, consolidated direction for nursing care provision throughout nursing service in accordance with nursing service's philosophy and the hospital's and BHC services' missions.
• Manages departmental budgetary responsibilities.
• Responsible for all BHC nursing and technician staff functions.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports quality data.
• Performs other duties.

Supervises : RN [Registered Nurse]/Nurse Manager (JC: 031001), Administrative Coordinator (JC: 060206), and RN/Assistant Nurse Manager (JC: 030303)
