Medical Assistant Opportunity

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Maywood, NJ 07607. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties:

• Performed patient rooming, vitals collection, and comprehensive patient assessments.
• As a CMA, you will provide direct and indirect patient care through clinical and telephone interactions, following established standards, policies, and clinical protocols.
• You will collaborate closely with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Conducted basic laboratory testing and assisted with clinical diagnostic procedures.
• Drew blood and managed specimen handling according to clinical standards.
• Completed clinical reports, documentation, and daily operational logs.
• Processed medication refills and handled provider-assigned clinical tasks.
• Answered multi-line phones, provided patient support, and coordinated appointment needs.
• Assisted with front office coverage, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of preferred experience
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification

Additional Information:

• Location: Maywood, NJ 07607
• Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire
• Schedule: Monday through Friday and every other Saturday
• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm
• Pay Range: $20-23/hrs. on W2 without benefits

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
