Campus Safety Officer

Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital is currently looking for a Campus Safety Officer. Join our dynamic team and contribute to a positive and engaging work environment where your efforts are recognized and valued. Duties and Responsibilities Obtain signatures from all visitors. Maintain visitor logs. Make rounds in a timely and unpredictable manner. Provide assistance to nursing staff or any other person who may need reinforcement. Establish positive interaction with patients and visitors. Enforce Hospital policies related to safety and security. Provide written documentation of visitor/ patient complaints and concerns. Communicate any problems to manager in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee. Knowledge and Job Skills Oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills. Able to participate in managing unsatisfied patients, visitors, etc. Able to deal with crisis. Able to lift patients. Physical dexterity. Able to recognize untoward, emergent or unusual situations or behaviors. Able to work in a manner that assures the safety of oneself, others and equipment. Education High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. Experience Hospital Security experience preferred. 2-year experience in Security is required. Schedule 6:30am-3pm with an every other weekend rotation (PT) 2:30pm-11pm with an every other weekend rotation (PT) 10:30pm-7am with an every other weekend rotation (PT) #J-18808-Ljbffr
